Agency Membership gives your team a year of spinal injury learning and ongoing support for £999. It brings together three elements: Learn through the online course, Instil through monthly group coaching, and Anchor through 52 weekly 'Life of Lionel' cartoons.

Membership includes course enrolments throughout your membership year, subject to fair use; access to our monthly 'First Thursday' group Q&A; and a weekly Life of Lionel cartoon sequence for enrolled learners—one cartoon and article a week for 52 weeks.

You can enrol as many learners each month as your agency needs, subject to our fair-use policy. This gives you flexibility to support both existing team members and new starters throughout the year. Please review the fair-use policy before purchasing.

The course introduces spinal cord injury and the practical considerations involved in supporting someone living with it. Topics include the injury journey, bowel management, moving and handling, autonomic dysreflexia, respiratory support, passive exercises and medication. Learners can revisit the material to strengthen their understanding.

Yes. The online course is self-paced, allowing learners to work through the material around their commitments. They can pause, return to lessons and review topics they would like to understand more clearly.

First Thursday is our monthly live group Q&A, held on the first Thursday of each month via Google Meet. Learners can ask questions, clarify course content and deepen their understanding through discussion or just blow off steam. The session time and joining details are provided to members.

The sessions bring together learners from subscribing agencies and individual Fellow Carer learners, including people exploring a career in spinal injury care. This creates opportunities to hear different questions and learn from shared discussion.

No. Learners are welcome to listen and learn from the questions others ask. First Thursday offers an opportunity to revisit the course and develop their understanding alongside fellow learners.

Life of Lionel cartoons use humour and recognisable care scenarios to bring learning points back into view. Delivered weekly, they offer memorable prompts to reflect on what learners have studied and connect it with everyday care situations.

Learners who complete the course requirements receive a course-completion certificate. It recognises completion of the foundational spinal injury learning programme. Practical competency assessment and authorisation to undertake care tasks remain your agency’s responsibility.

Fellow Carer provides foundational knowledge and continuing learning support. Your agency can use it alongside its induction, practical training, client-specific instructions and competency assessments.

On-site supervision is an optional service, quoted separately. We observe the learner delivering care and offer feedback and advice within an agreed scope. Your agency retains responsibility for competency assessment and sign-off.
